We believe that adding a visual adds important elements to therapy, thus we do not offer phone services. You can however choose to work with our counsellors / psychologists / psychotherapists over Skype (or your preferred platform) to ensure you can both see each other throughout the session.

Online therapy (also known as telehealth, teletherapy or virtual therapy) can be just as effective as in-person therapy for most people. However, it ultimately depends on individual preferences, needs, and circumstances.

The benefits of online therapy include:

• Accessibility: Online therapy can be accessed by anyone regardless of physical location, mobility issues, or a busy schedule.

• Convenience: Online therapy allows you to attend sessions from anywhere, at any time. All you need is a stable internet connection.

• Comfort: Some people feel more comfortable opening up from the comfort of their own home.

We work by appointment only as all of our counsellors / psychologists / psychotherapists have different clinical hours. You can book an appointment via our online booking platform, or by clicking the “book now” button at the top of the page. We are unable to to see you without a pre-booked appointment.

You will be able to choose your preferred counsellors / psychologists / psychotherapists and time. Appointments are confirmed automatically via email.

You can edit or cancel your appointment via our online booking system. Simply follow the links in your appointment confirmation email, or login to your account on the booking platform.

Please note that all changes and cancellations require 24h notice, as per our cancellation policy.

Availability and clinical hours differ for each of our counsellors / psychologists / psychotherapists. If you do not have a preferred choice of therapist, you may be able to make an appointment for the same day (subjective to availability). Our booking system will be able to show you the next available appointment for our team.

Choosing the right therapist is an important step in your journey towards well-being. Here are some factors to consider:

1. Area of specialty: Ensure the therapist's expertise aligns with the issue you're seeking help for (e.g., anxiety, relationships, trauma).

2. Availability: Check the therapist's clinical hours to ensure they align with your schedule. Keep in mind that popular time slots may be limited.

3. Personal comfort: Consider your personal preferences, such as therapist style, approach, gender, cultural background, or language.

Yes, as therapists our team is bound by confidentiality and will not be able to share your personal details without your consent. Kindly note that exceptions apply, as per professional ethical guidelines, which will be discussed with you at the start of your first appointment.

As each person's situation is unique, it is not possible to give a blanket statement about the number of sessions needed. Usually the first session is used for introductions and to get to know you, your situation, and your goals.  By the end of the first session, your counsellors / psychologists / psychotherapists will be able to give you a treatment plan and estimation of the number of sessions needed. Therapy is unlikely to be a one-session fix.

The goal of therapy is not to tell you what to do, but to empower you to make informed decisions yourself through asking questions, increasing awareness and discussing new perspectives.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer free consultations with our therapists. If you are unsure about which therapist to pick, we can help make suitable recommendations. Please email us to discuss this.

Our fees vary based on each therapist's level of seniority, ensuring you receive the highest quality services. Our booking platform is standardised and will ask for payment for every booking. Rest assured though, as an EAP customer you can ignore the payment request.

Once we have received your appointment booking, we will verify your eligibility for EAP sessions with your EAP provider. There will be no additional fees for you.
